On one fine evening, watching the documentary “Megastructures” airing on National Geographic and getting acquainted with the fact that the design of the world’s tallest skyscraper, Burj Khalifa, was inspired by the lyrical and well-proportioned structure of the Spider Lily flower, got me so much intrigued that it made me realize that architecture was surely going to be an indispensable and a salient part of my life. It was my “ah-hah!” moment- that moment during the 7th grade of my school when I'd already decided on my dream career. This was the start of my love for architecture. Ever since then, there has been no looking back as I've always been inclined towards knowing the ins and outs of it so as to perceive and look at the world with a different eye.

Hello, my name is Teeshane Shah. I'm a sophomore at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, enrolled in the 5-year Bachelor of Architecture program, aspiring to be an architect.
