ORDERING SYSTEMS
The selection of materials in architecture is crucial, whether for aesthetic, functional, or emotional reasons. This project exercise aimed to investigate materiality by creating analytical design models. This model served as a starting point for further exploration of topics such as structure, spatial design, movement, and organization.
The organization of architecture is essential and it is attained by utilizing principles of composition, organization and equilibrium in the planning of buildings and spaces. These principles may include symmetry, hierarchy, and proportion, and they are frequently employed to attain a sense of harmony in the design. They can be applied to aspects such as form, space, and materials. This concept of ordering systems was employed to design a structure that would not only blend seamlessly with its park setting but also be functional and user-friendly for visitors.
